The small amount of essential cookie and local-storage use on Chamber Connect, with no advertising or audience analytics.
The short version
Chamber Connect does not use advertising cookies or audience analytics. We use secure cookies when someone signs in and local storage to remember a theme and whether this notice has already been acknowledged. These are functional choices, not permission for tracking. Nearby recommendations use an approximate network area, or device location only when you request it. This area and any rounded coordinates are used for that request, not written to a cookie or local storage. You can choose “All places” to browse without local suggestions.
What is stored in your browser

Cookie names used by the authentication provider may change or be split into chunks as sessions are refreshed. The purpose remains the same: secure account access.
Third-party pages
If you choose Google sign-in, Google may use storage on its own domains during authentication. If a chamber opens Stripe Checkout or the billing portal, Stripe may use storage on its own pages for checkout, fraud prevention, and security. Their notices govern that activity. Links to business and chamber websites also take you to sites with their own practices.
Your controls
Browser settings can delete or block cookies and local storage. Blocking authentication cookies means sign-in and account tools will not work. Clearing local storage resets the theme and shows the storage notice again. Because Chamber Connect does not load optional analytics or advertising tags, there is no separate tracking preference to turn off.
